On Tuesday March 24th the JV boys baseball team faced off against the Shorecrest Scotts. The game was not close for long, as the boys jumped off to a quick start, leading after their very first at bats.  Although the game was not a challenge for the grizzlies, it had many learning opportunities. The coaches had great teaching moments and the team was able to work on the things they struggle with and turn those weaknesses into strengths. “We scored a lot of runs and we got to hit A LOT” said sophomore Luke Wyatt. “We face this team two more times this week but we won’t know how these guys will fight back till we play.”

When the boys began to plateau, a Bobby Martin stand up triple got the boys rallying once again. “The game went really good, we smashed them” said freshman Booby martin. “This was only our second game, and it was better than our first.” The game ended a 22-1 grizzly victory.

The season looks bright for the team. They have only played two games and the improvement that has been seen already can only get better and better. Come support every Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays!
