“I wouldn’t have rather shared the experience with anyone else besides Dani,” Peltier said with a booming smile.

This year’s coronation assembly was held Friday October, 17^th to elect the homecoming king and queen. The assembly featured 10 couples and one extra boy due to a tie in the voting. Each couple choreographed a dance to their favorite songs to dance to down the four tiered red carpet.

“It was so much fun even though it was an emotional rollercoaster” said Grant Peltier who went on to win homecoming king.

“I was so surprised… I didn’t think I’d win at all with all the other tremendously beautiful contestants” said Peltier.

Even though he doesn’t necessarily like all the attention that came with the victory. “It was still such and honor, ” Peltier said.

He and other senior Danika Morrison were elected on Friday morning then embarked through a stress filled day that included making an appearance at the football game and going through 10 minute long photo-ops.
