Long mop-headed, 6’1” grungy guy walks toward you and your first thought… French model. YES! You’re right. About a year ago Logan Bray started to model for Nike in Portland, Oregon. Bray was offered this job December 2013 at a Pearl Jam concert. This is too much to be true. Keep reading.

At first Bray was confused because he was caught up in the concert and all the scout said was “Call me,” and handed him her business card. After his work in Portland he was flown down to Los Angeles for a day to test his modeling for a job in Europe. In LA Bray met the CEO of YVE Saint Laurent. Saint Laurent is a fashion company based in France. Francesca Bellettini is the current CEO and Bray and she hit it off.

After a couple head shots and waiting a long time, Bray qualified for France. During the summer or 2014 he flew  to Paris for 15 days for three days of work. While in Paris when he wasn’t modeling, he hung out with other models. The look they used Logan in this shoot was a high class Rock n’ Roll 60’s and ungainful 70’s.

Bray himself was clean shaven with his hair long and greased styled many different ways in all types of clothes. The other 12 days of lounging he hit up as many tourist activities as possible. He went to The Eiffel Tower and ate baguettes. Through many fun days, Bray learned to appreciate the culture. After Paris, Bray has done smaller shoots in Seattle with his work in Paris boosting his recognition.

Bray plays guitar in a band  and although his modeling career has not helped his music career or vice versa, maybe in the future some connections can be made. In the near future Bray may go to London expanding his modeling career, and could be the next step to becoming well known through the modeling community. Even so, “France has been the highlight so far.”
