We are all different, no person is the same. We all have at least one thing in common, we all love throwback hits. So let us reminisce, shall we?

“Sugar, Sugar’ by Baby Bash, that’s my favorite because it brings back memories from my childhood and because it is different from music now, its classic hip-hop,” Leroy Nguyen said.

Classic hip hop undeniably is a large part of the throwback realm, these hits take us to a better place and to a memorable time when music was at it’s peak.

“‘Don’t stop believing’ is a good song to rock out too,” Nicole Always said.

Classic rock is for sure different than the rock that we know today, but it evolved from the greatest throwback hits of all time. Everyone knows these hits, maybe it’s because they are more relatable, or maybe it’s because of the beat and melody.

“I love ‘Red Red Wine’ because my brother used to play it on his radio and I liked the melody, it sounds like a good socializing song,” Joyce Lee said.

Throwback jams take us on an escape from whatever problems or worries we have. Quite often at resorts and more tropical destinations these songs send thrills to the people surrounding.

“‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World’ by Tears for Fears because it stands out to me, it flows and sounds good,” Alex Doty said.

Music moves us, we all have different drives, throwback jams help us communicate with people, it unifies us, it helps us connect with other people who may share the same drives and music tastes. Sometimes it’s more about the experience the music gives us, the moments it gave us, or the moments it was in the background.
