The Glacier Peak Grizzlies took on the Lynwood Royals yesterday on the Grizzlies home dirt. The Grizzlies pulled a 15-1 victory over the Royals, with a two run homerun from center fielder Emily Jameson. Senior Rachel Summers caught a pop fly for the final out of her last high school game, a great way to end her softball season.

“It was really nice to run off the field seeing my teammates smiles, as I got a little teary eyed knowing it’s the last time I will ever play with them,” Summers said.

The Grizzlies finished with their sixteenth straight win of the season, going undefeated, taking first place in Wesco, and having the best record in Glacier Peak history for JV softball.
