April 27 marks the opening of Beyoncé’s “The Formation World Tour” in Miami, Florida. While fans are crazed, perched at their computer trying to get the best seats, Seattle fans are patiently waiting for May 18, when the queen will grace Century Link Field. Ticket prices range from $70 to $4000 for on stage seating.

From her first solo album “Dangerously in Love” Beyoncé has only grown in popularity. With fans around the world, The Formation Tour is bound to be a success as the pop star travels through North America and Europe. As of February 17, the Beyoncé tour has already sold over a million tickets in presale for a few selected venues. The Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, and a few other locations are all completely sold out. This will be Beyoncé’s first solo tour since, her “Mrs. Carter World Tour” in 2014.

With controversy  circulating in regards to her newest video, “Formation,” fans are worried that this may interfere with the tour. The video features undertones of Black Panther support as well as rebellion against police.

After premiering her single “Formation,” fans are anticipating Beyoncé to release her new album mid-April. Aside from the new album, speculation is also in the air of a second album being released this year integrating her husband Jay-Z. The 2016 Super Bowl performance was practice for Beyoncé’s upcoming performances.
