“I started getting into drama about three years ago. My brother did drama in middle school, and he would come home and tell me all about it, and I knew that’s what I wanted to do. It’s definitely something that I want to do for the rest of high school.  I love theater so much because everyone is so nice and just loves each other and supports each other. I was in the Music Man which was really fun. I got to dance and sing and act a little bit with all my favorite people. I auditioned for two shows, two musicals, for this summer, so I’m hoping to get into at least one of them. I’m, hopefully, doing Cats and Les Mis. I didn’t get a callback for Gavroche for Les Mis, but I just did the audition for Victoria for Cats and am just waiting on them to reach back. Basically, I found what shows were going on this summer online. And then went and auditioned by preparing a song and a monologue. Now I’m just waiting for the callback lists to come out. Then hopefully I can go for callbacks and get the characters I auditioned for and begin rehearsals.”
