“I received an email from Mrs. Mallory, who got an email from the head of media, and whoever else was in charge of Snohomish United Soccer Team. For my first day with them they were already kind to me. They were having a party, and then they had the march to the match, which was really high energy with like a snare drum and cowbells and flags. And then when I got to the game, there was a few other photographers. One of them said hi to me, asked who I was, and I was talking to them and all everything like that. And he was telling me a few of the shots that he got that he thought, I could get, and that would be cool, and he was giving me some tips, so it was really cool to have that community there. and, yeah, the game we didn’t do good at it, but the overall, it was a really good experience. I’m excited to do it again, so. I’ve done some photography for our school’s baseball team, like a couple games. So that kind of got me into it, and then once I heard of the internship, I really wanted to do it because I wanted to get my name out there more and it’s it seemed to work from what I’ve seen now, so yeah, I’m just getting more experience and getting my name out there a little bit.”
