When it comes to the trap and EDM music in general, Flosstradamus’ newest album Soundclash EP is the hottest thing to listen to right now. Flosstradamus is an EDM/trap/hip hop music group based out of the bustling city of Chicago, IL and was established in 2006 by two men that go by the names J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci). Since the formation of the Flosstradamus group, they have played at many popular music festivals such as the Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Pitchfork Music Festival, Rothbury Music Festival, Lollapalooza, TomorrowWorld and South by Southwest, and with each festival they have grown increasingly well known and loved.

Flosstradamus over the past few months has been giving their fans sneak peeks of what the new album is to consist of. They have released songs such as “Soundclash” with Troyboi and “Prison riot” with GTA and Lil Jon. Now that they have released the album we can get the full experience with the 3 new songs Flosstradamus & NYMZ – Wavy, Flosstradamus & Ricky Remedy – BYB, and Flosstradamus – Don’t Trip feat. Sizzy Rocket & Run The Jewels. The featured artists and producers are not necessarily as popular as Flosstradamus’ group but that did not hurt the quality of their music in the least. A majority of their music in this EP has a very mechanical and modern sound to it which might be explained by the very industrialized city they came from.  Not many can master this musical style in such a clean way, and that is what sets them apart from the trap and EDM crowd. This album is without a doubt the best of their work and I would encourage anyone that likes music that will pump you up to give it a listen.
