Harry Styles, one member of the popular and now deceased band One Direction, released his new solo album titled HARRY STYLES at midnight last night for the entire world. 10 songs, all completely different styles of music. Before the release of the album, two songs (“Sign of the Times” and “Sweet Creature”) were released for sale, and the other two (“Carolina” and “Ever Since New York”) were performed on different TV shows.

”Meet Me in the Hallway”: This one sounds like it could be from the soundtrack of a romance movie. Wonderful acoustic undertones. It tells a story of a couple trying to work out their problems.

“Sign of the Times”: First single released by Styles. Tells how society doesn’t learn from itself and history keeps repeating. Definitely a heart-wrencher.

“Carolina”: This one was completely different; nobody expected it. Most would think it to be a slow love song, but it’s an alternative, upbeat jam.

“Two Ghosts”: A slow country song about a couple who have changed; who are trying to figure out if they should stay together, or go their separate ways. You could say they are in love with the ghosts of each other.

“Sweet Creature”: The second single released before the album. It reminds one of the song “Black Bird” by the Beatles. An acoustic ballad of a young couple trying to find their way, but if either goes off track, the other will bring them home.

“Only Angel”: Has the sound of a classic rock and roll song. It’s about being in love with a rebel who goes against the norm of a typical girlfriend.

“Kiwi”: A wonderful twist on a rock and roll classic. Sounds like the musical recreation of 1990 instant classic, “Pretty Woman”.

“Ever Since New York”: This song has been speculated to be about the past relationship between Styles and Taylor Swift. It was originally “released” on a performance on Saturday Night Live, but was not available for individual purchase. Sounds like your standard break-up song.

“Woman”: A mix between rock and an alternative sound. It’s about jealousy and the unattainable girl.

“From the Dining Table”: The aftermath of a breakup, possibly with one person having been unfaithful. It’s slow and has more of a alternative vibe.

Overall, it’s something completely unexpected, but it’s still great. We would definitely recommend this album.
