Loopsie

Loopsie is a new app featured on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Its used to create live photos with a bit of a twist. You select the parts of the picture you want to move while the unselected stays still. You can easily select your moving parts of you picture by “drawing” on the area you want to move. Its as simple as that. You can become a photo editing pro in the matter of seconds. “I tried out this app thinking it was going to be a really hard process to create these moving photos but after downloading and trying it out I really got the hang of it. I’d totally suggest it to anyone who wants to glam up the photos,” Freshman Chloe Potts said.

This app is free and took very little time to figure out, but I did experience some crashes when opening the app on the iPhone 7 that I used to test this app on but overall ran quite smoothly. I tried to take these live photos in different places around Glacier Peak, but I found its hard to create an interesting photo without an interesting subject. Like Boomerang this app can loop your photo and send it directly to Instagram or Facebook. “I think I actually like Loopsie more than Boomerang just because I can choose what parts of the picture move. It lets me have all of the control over the environment and feel of the photo.” Junior Daniel Nistor shares.

Over all this app lets you freely create a more involved picture while keeping the everything but the subject still. This app is new, and I feel still has plenty of room for improvement, but I think it is a good live photo maker. It can easily compete with the bigger live photo apps just because of its new and fresh design and its well put together app.
