“When I was younger my mom told me the lyrics said the “Beach” is back and it wasn’t until college that I realized I had been singing the wrong lyrics for years.  Still love this song.”

Raelyn Young- We R Who We R by Kesha

“I love this song because it reminds me of the good old days of listening to it in my mom’s car and at the skate deck. It puts me in a good mood and also makes me laugh because it reminds of the Vine of the cheerleader falling through the sunroof of a car.”

Angelina Offin- State of Love and Trust by Pearl Jam

“I am really into 90s rock and this is just one of my favorite songs from Pearl Jam. It’s super upbeat and it instantly puts me in a good mood! I also love listening to Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains & Mother Love Bone which are all bands from Seattle!”

Lilja Bjornsson- Middle by Major Lazer

“This song is a few years old now, however it just gives me these amazing summer vibes and it feels like it brings me back to a happier time for myself. We all have that song that makes us feel like summer, and this is mine!”

Kensington Munoz- She’s American by The 1975

“It’s super upbeat and has a really happy vibe to it so it’s my go to song!”

Trevor Butler- Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey

“I go through favorite songs like a kid on a growth spurt goes through clothes. But this one has pretty much stayed constant since I first heard it. It’s such a good pump-up song and the guitar solo has proven for some awesome air guitar moments.”

Lillyana Brastad- Time by Pink Floyd

“Pink Floyd is my favorite band and Time is my all-time favorite song of theirs. Two of my closest friends showed me Pink Floyd so that’s why this song is special to me.”

Audrey Page- Careless Whisper by George Michael

“It’s very relaxing and makes me dance in my room.”

Delaney Gaffney– Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus 

“I love it because me and my friends love to sing this at the top of our lungs while we drive around.”

Hannah Cerezo– You Should See Me in a Crown by Billie Eilish 

“This song makes me feel powerful and I can do cool lightsaber choreography to it.”

Julia Marburger- Gives You Hell by The All-American Rejects  

“It’s very nostalgic and brings me back to shouting at the top of my lungs when my parents weren’t home in about 5^th grade while I pretended the broom was my microphone instead of doing my chores.”

Makenzie Korshaven– My Little Corner of the World by Yo La Tengo 

“My favorite song is constantly changing, but this is my favorite right now because it is happy and comforting.”

Ruby Anderson- Be Alright by Dean Lewis

“This is definitely my favorite song because I love the beat drop.”

Alana Bianchi– Outro by M83 

“Outro is my favorite song at the moment because it’s one of those songs that makes you feel infinite.”

Ollie Notbohm– Revolution Lover by Left at London 

“It was the song that introduced me to Left at London, who’s my favorite musician today. I’m a fan of a lot of her songs, but Revolution Lover will always be my favorite. I love how fun and upbeat it is.”
