The school recently hosted an assembly called the “No Hate Tour” which was held on Thursday April 13. Its goal was to promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students. The assembly focused on the issue of bullying and how it affects students’ lives.

During the assembly, four professional bike riders came to perform with their BMX bikes, and shared their experiences with the students on how they got to where they were. They also talked about how they were also bullied, shamed or told that they couldn’t get anywhere along their way to become professional bikers, but they still succeeded.

They talked about the four different types of bullying and how cyber bullying is the most harmful right now, because people are not afraid to say mean things behind a screen, and they don’t know how much it can affect the other person behind the screen. Hopefully this assembly will have an impact on bullying, it may not end bullying completely, but it will for sure reduce it. “I think the assembly was cool with all the tricks and amazing stories shared. I think it will help with bullying at schools,” said Afshan Munawar.

The “No Hate Tour” assembly at was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the harmful effects of bullying and how to promote kindness and respect in their school community. The riders’ impressive bike performance and personal stories left a lasting impact on the audience, inspiring many students to act against bullying and create a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone. Students were provided with valuable tools and resources to address bullying, including strategies for speaking up against bullying and seeking help if necessary. Students were encouraged to use these tools to support their peers and to create a culture of kindness and respect in their school community. Overall, the “No Hate Tour” assembly was a success in raising awareness about bullying and promoting kindness and respect.
