Once again trending, Uggs, grandpa sweaters, and low-rise have become a staple throughout GP. This uprising trend of following past styles has also been seen throughout social media. Many students have started to acknowledge this uprising trend by adding these new staples to their closets. Low-rise pants have been loved and worn by many of the female students, “I honestly love wearing low-rise jeans because it is super flattering and it goes with everything” Olivia Donohue said. Not only has low-rise jeans become popular again, but this style has also incorporated itself into other types of pants such as sweatpants and leggings.

Another trend that has returned to the surface is the well-loved UGG. Back in fashion, Ugg has made a reappearance in today’s outfits, as many have begun to wear these shoes once again. This shoe has especially made an impact to the students of GP, as many have been influenced and following this new craze. Most popular, Tazzman and Ultra Mini, have become a staple within the GP students during the winter fashion season, “Tazzmans are my favorite shoes right now, its so comfy and it matches with a lot” Lauren Hufford said. Some prefer the well-known ultra mini, a different style from the Tazzman, “I love the Ultra minis so much I think I wear them almost every day” Samia Bouanani said.

As winter revolves around comfort and warmth, many have started to bring back the recurring trend of grandpa sweaters. The iconic addition of grandpa sweaters to one’s outfit makes many feel very traditional this season. A majority of the GP students have added this essential to their closet, as it adds a pop of personality to their style. Overall, these iconic trends have added a perfect touch to every outfit, showing the holiday spirit throughout winter fashion.
