A special achievement, but more importantly, a special experience shared with the people around is the time of high school, and for seniors, it’s finally coming to an end. High school is home to some of the best moments of life, but maybe also the worst moments. But it’s all of these moments bunched into one that makes high school a time to remember. “One of my favorite parts of my high school experience was definitely the community. The people I met here and the teachers, especially, were awesome. My favorite teacher here that I felt the best connection with was Mr. Casagrande,” Gael Guerrero said.
With the year coming to an end, there’s a mix of emotions surrounding the matter, whether it be excitement for what the future holds or sadness to see such a special time of life leaving before the eyes. “I am really going to miss this place so much. I can’t believe it’s already been four years since I first got here, and just like that, it’s already ending. Coming to school every morning, excited to see my friends, not excited to go to class, I’m just so not ready that this day has come so soon,” John Calle said.
But not all people are sad, some students are equally as excited to take this new step in life. Whether it may be going to college or exploring, or starting to work, some students are eager for what the future holds for them. “Honestly, I’m pretty excited for the future, and sure, seeing my friends and stuff every day was really fun, but I’m ready to get my life together. I’m thinking of a bunch of stuff I’m going to do, like traveling to Dubai for a while, meeting new people, and spending time with my friends. I’m just relieved that high school is finally over,” Benjamin Okpara said.
