‘Our Place Dessert Cafe,’ located in the Mill Creek Town Center, officially opened on March 16 and has already attracted attention for its creative treats, cozy atmosphere, and modern aesthetic. Many students have started visiting after school because of the comfortable environment and wide variety of desserts and drinks. The new dessert cafe is bringing a fresh taste of Asian culture and classic desserts to the community. It aims to give students and community members a fun and welcoming place to satisfy their sweet tooth while also relaxing with friends or studying after school.

The shop offers many different desserts and drinks including coffee, einspänner, fruit-aide smoothies, croffles, and bingsu. One of the most popular menu items so far is the Lotus Biscoff einspänner, which has quickly become a customer favorite because of its sweet flavor and creamy texture. Customers also enjoy the cafe’s presentation, as many drinks and desserts are decorated beautifully and look perfect for social media photos. 

“I always wanted to work at a chill cafe. My favorite thing about working there is that I get to be myself and do what I love. The cafe is a chill place where you can study or even just go for dessert after dinner,” Hannah Park said. I would recommend the einspänner because there are many different options to choose from. My favorite is the Lotus Biscoff einspänner.”

In addition to its menu, the shop has many cute features including built-in wooden bench seating with tables in between, warm lighting, and mid-century modern decorations. The cafe’s calming atmosphere helps create a relaxing experience for customers. Many visitors say the cafe feels different from other dessert shops in the area because it combines trendy desserts with a welcoming community vibe. As more people discover the cafe, it is quickly becoming a popular new hangout spot for students and families in Mill Creek.
