The sequel of Inside Out by Disney and Pixar is set to hit theaters in the United States June 14th, 2024, which is a great start to new summer movies. It will be featured in RealD, IMAX, and Dolby Cinema, you can visit any AMC or Regal Theatre to get tickets to the show. The movie is about a teen girl hockey player Riley Andersen played by Kensington Tallman who replaced Kaitlyn Dias from the original movie.  who is about to enter her new teenage years and new emotions start to appear.

The movie is directed by Kelsey Mann who has done other Pixar movies such as, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear, and Elemental, which were all huge successes. The movie is written by Dave Holstein and Meg Lefauve, and produced by Mark Nielsen. The emotions actors are Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Tony Hale as Fear, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Liza Lapira as Disgust, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Amy Poehler as Joy, Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui(which is a feeling about being bored and unpleased), Lewis Black as Anger, and June Squibb as Nostalgia, with such experienced actors the movie is sure to be as successful as the first.

The movie was first announced that it would be back for a sequel September 2022 at a movie conference. The teaser trailer was released November 9th, 2023, and the second and final official trailer hit the screens March 7th, 2024. Both trailers feature the original emotions(Fear, Disgust, Sadness, Joy, and Anger) going about their normal daily lives, then a new emotion Anxiety shows up. Slowly more and more new emotions(Envy, Embarrassment, and Nostalgia) begin to introduce themselves, the original emotions have to adjust their actions and what they are doing to figure out how to work and deal with the different new emotions.
