“So, I’m in the Seattle Storm Dance troop, we dance at every WMBA Storm Home game, so that’s really cool. The team is so fun, there are 14 of us, I think, and we’re all just a little family. We’re all sisters, and we all love to dance, and we try our absolute hardest all the time. There is such a rush on the court, like at the Indiana Fever game, there were a lot of people, like so, so, so many people, but it was so much fun, and it was just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Auditions are definitely terrifying, but once you get past the auditions and you’re in, it’s just so much fun, and then you’re in it for the rest of the year until tryouts again. I actually found out from my friend Olivia. We were at a comp together, and she was saying she was going to try out, and I was like ‘Oh, what is that, I don’t know what that is,’ and so she was on it for a year. Then two of the girls who were in Storm with her ended up coming to our studio and started dancing with us and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, these girls are so nice, and this sounds really cool’, so I tried out, and I ended up making it and I loved it so much, it was so cool,” Sofia Carmona said.
