“I started playing golf in my freshman year, but my love for the sport began long before that. Growing up, I would go to the range with my family, and that experience sparked my interest in actually playing the game. When I joined the golf team, I convinced my best friends to join as well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Having them by my side helped me develop a deeper appreciation for the sport, and over time, my love for golf only grew stronger. Throughout high school, I continued playing and found so much joy in every aspect of the game. Golf is such a fun sport, not just because of the challenge presented, but also because of the social aspect. I love meeting new people and forming bonds with my teammates and even opponents. Playing with the same people over time strengthens friendships and creates lasting memories. One of my favorite parts of golf is match days. The rides to the courses are always a highlight; we blast music, eat snacks, and just enjoy each other’s company. Golf has given me amazing experiences, lifelong friends, and a sport I truly love and appreciate more every day,” Kendall Myers said.
