“Before track, not very much in September but starting in October, I would get home from school around 2:50. I would eat a Rice Krispies treat or some ice cream until 3:05, then I am asleep until 7:30 or 8. Then I will wake up, I will have a meal, and then go back to bed for the night. However, during track season, my schedule is a little different. I will hopefully get home around 4, and then I will eat a little bit of a bigger meal, like maybe some rice and chicken or maybe some fruit or something. Then I am in bed for the night at around 6 to 8. I try to be asleep right when I get in bed, but recently it has been pushed back sadly, and I have been having to take my naps during school. I am a very tired person, and my whole life I have been a napper; this isn’t like a new thing. This is an ongoing 17-year daily nap. I have napped pretty much every day of my whole life. In the summer, I sleep until 12 so I don’t have to take as long or even take a nap. I go to bed kind of late if I am hanging out with my friends, but I like to get 15 hours of sleep a night in the summer. The longest I have ever slept is from 6 p.m. to 3 p.m. the next day, that’s 21 hours,” Holly Spear said.
