“I’m a junior at Glacier Peak High School. I am president of Latinos Unidos, and I have been president for two years now. I love being the president of the club. I basically just organize and make people feel welcomed, especially the Hispanic students that attend here at our school. I also work. My job is that I work with kids from six weeks to ten years old at the YMCA. It’s a really fun job; I get to watch the kids while the parents go work out, and it is amazing to do. It’s a fun job, especially when parents like that it is their only time alone, because we have a lot of military wives. So that’s the only time that they can spend by themselves. So, it’s really nice to help them, and the kids are awesome, so it’s really cool to do all this stuff. I feel like working with kids has helped build my future as I want to become a teacher when I grow up,” Paco said.
