“Travelling has been a pretty impactful part of my life because I have gotten to see a bunch of different cultures and have had a lot of unique experiences. One thing I really enjoyed was traveling to Puerto Rico because that was where my mom grew up. Even though it is still a part of the U.S., it is still a very different culture. I enjoyed the food. Whenever I travel, food has always been a major part of the experience. Along with the music. I have always had a connection to music, even if you can’t understand the words, you can still understand the meaning and feel the music. Even if I can’t really remember it all that well since the last time I went, I was four, I still have a vague memory. While also being in a military family, being able to travel with my dad was really nice. When he was deployed in Germany, we got to see some of the culture and got to go to the Christmas markets. We also drove all the way down to Rome and got to see a lot of significant places. We learned a lot of history and got to see the Colosseum and other monuments. Very recently, we got to travel to London and got to see how similar yet different it was to the United States. You can’t really compare it to anywhere in the U.S., but I didn’t feel out of place,” O’Callaghan
