“I mostly plan on just staying at home most of the summer and just sleeping in and spending more time with my family as that’s harder to do during the school year. However, I know that in the last week of August I’m going to Vancouver with my family. It will be fun sightseeing and shopping. For my classes senior year, I am most looking forward to myth and being a TA for Mrs. White. I’m excited for that as I haven’t TA’d before so it will be fun to try something new, and I really liked Mrs. White when I had her for honors English sophomore year. My senior year I’m most looking forward to prom as I love dress shopping, but I also see it as a last hurrah sort of situation to have a fun time with your friends at your last high school dance, and I always have a great time at dances with my friends so prom would just be extra special since it would be the last dance. The stress of everything that comes with being a senior is what I’m least excited for, like picking a college, submitting applications and essays. Also hoping you get into one of your top schools and making sure you have good grades so you can graduate. I would say my favorite senior tradition that I’m excited to experience is senior skip day as it’s totally fine to skip school and just get a day to relax or hang out with friends, which I feel like is needed at the end of senior year as that’s when everything is a lot more stressful.”
