“Well, I started Taekwondo because my friend’s brother did it, and I was like, that sounds cool. So, starting in, like, second grade, I started doing it, and it’s fun. And sometimes I do miss it, but it’s a lot of commitment. A lot of the practices were like right after school, so there’s like no down time, but it was fun. I made some friends there. If I did it up until COVID when we had to do online stuff. Yeah, and I was just I got tired of it, but it’s fun. You do have to do fitness tests occasionally, but you don’t have to be super athletic to do it. When you get to black belt things kind of change, it’s like, you do nunchuck practice who do more sparring. I hated sparring, I was bad at it. You do more, I guess I don’t want to say dangerous, but more involved things. The things get more complicated the higher up you go.”
