“I’m going to Western Washington University in Bellingham. I’m majoring in art, I don’t know if I’m gonna stay there for all four years. I might transfer to a different school, but we’ll see where my plan goes. I went to look more into their art programs. They have really cool rooms. They have a ceramic room, they have a painted room, a painting class, a ceramic class, a sculpting class, a sculpting class. An art major, a minor in STEAM, which is how to apply art in STEM fields. You could draw diagrams of either anatomy or different cells, and because I feel like when I think of art and STEM, I think of biology. I think of animals. I think of drawing the anatomy for the animals, labeling the different parts of the body. In ceramics, I like making bowls. I like making tumblers and mugs, and making references to things that I like. For drawing, I like drawing people a lot. I don’t like really drawing like environments and landscapes,” Noori said.
