“I am on the People’s Republic of Knowledge. Every time before we have a competition, I get sushi, I’ve done that for all the years that I’ve been a part of Knowledge Bowl. I just get it at Safeway, because when we’re going to different high schools, we stop at Safeway and I just pick it up there. I am a grammar person. I’m very good at grammar and English, not literature. Yeah so Landon is good at Math and Science, Alex is geography and math, Olga is also math and she’s also the literature person. She is very good at that. Esten and I are also the music people. He’s more than I am though, he does chemistry and biology as well. So last year, I was on the second place team at GP. Our team was fifth in state, but the team above us at GP (Charlotte, Jack Swafford, Tim, and Landon) got tied with one of the teams from Everett. So when they tied, they had a showdown in front of all of the other teams. It was really exciting and my favorite memory even though we lost.”
