As we all have heard and can’t wait to see, Squid Game announced Season 3 coming out this month, June 27, 2025. Season 3, the final survival of the television series Squid Game is produced by Netflix.

The series left us at a cliffhanger in Season 2 Episode 7, as we remember the players entering a room for a new game. After seeing the cliffhanger most of the fans were diving deeper to guess the next game.

There were a lot of guesses coming from fans claiming their ideas for the series next game such as Jack and Jill, Dongdaemun/London Bridge, and The Trolley Problem. Social media is ripe with theories of these ideas for the next game already projecting who they think will  be eliminated.

The theories were peaking up until May 31, when a trailer for the series posted, spoiling the next game which turned out to be a Jump Rope game. The trailer shows a pop-up scene of the two dolls holding a jumping rope meaning that the players are supposed to jump over the rope. The Fans also had a small spoiler of the other games such as The Maze.” Fans are theorizing how the game itself will be played. The explanations go as far as mentioning that the players must get a ball from a gumball machine, being assigned the color they will be working with based on the gumball’s blue or red color. The teaser shows a bit of the area which really reminds me of a maze. Fans guess that the blue team has the key to the door that they must find in the maze while red team tries to kill the blue player to take the key to the door that they were handed. These theories are building the excitement for watch parties on the release day.
