On Jan. 10 Pete Carroll was let go as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. He coached them for 14 years, and has the most wins as a coach in franchise history. He brought the Seahawks to two Super Bowls, and he coached the team to won Super Bowl win. “I am glad that he is gone now, I have been wanting him gone since 2019 to 2020, I like him with the players, but I think we needed to clear out and I would like an offensive line coach,” Angus Van Valley said.

He was great with the players, but some people thought they needed a new head coach to call the shots. He is now 72 years old, and has gotten super close to the players, he was seen tearing up at his press conference because he was sad to be leaving the Seahawks. “It’s been an honor and a thrill to be a part of this program, I’ve loved every minute of it, you’ve watched me love it,” Pete Carroll said during his press conference after being let go.

Pete Carroll ranks 15th on the all time on the all time wins list. He has coached since 2001 and for the start of his career until 2009 he coached the USC  Trojans, then he moved on to head coach the Seattle Seahawks. Some people have wanted him gone for a while, but some people liked him as a coach, but thought that it was time to move on, “I love Pete Carroll he was a great coach, and he was there since I was born, it’s sad to see him leave, but we needed new coaching, I thought he was going to retire, and not really get fired,” Blake Roberts said.

After 14 years, 11 winning seasons, 30 pro bowlers, 2 Super Bowl Appearances, 1 Super Bowl win, and a million memories, “I think Pete Carroll was a great coach, but I think it’s time to move on, it’s a new era, different players, and a whole new game, the team has outgrown him.” Max Bridges said.
