This past Friday, students wore crazy red and green just in time to welcome the holiday season. Sweaters strolled through the hallways, decorated with lights, garland, and many Santa’s. Candy canes rained, reindeer pranced, and some even sang. The Christmas cheer was evident in the hall ways.

Wearing a true Value Village find, student Abbie Miller reflected on the day, saying her sweater made her feel festive.  She showed how much she loves the holidays with her “sweater [because it] really depicts the Christmas spirit” Miller said. You can tell Christmas is Miller’s favorite holiday by the way she strutted down the hallways wearing her black button up, red sweater and lit up, bright red, Christmas light bulb earrings.

“Hauk’s sweater is one of a kind,” Miller said as she posed with her government teacher, Mr. Hauk. It was definitely one of a kind with snowflake ornaments, Christmas tassels, and lights glued all over the bright red, knitted sweater.

“Mrs. Pena made my sweater and stayed up until midnight making it,” Hauk said. You can tell Hauk is proud of his sweater, and it is now hung up on his whiteboard in his room for all to see. With Christmas break right around the corner, students showed their anticipation for the holidays with their Christmas spirit
