“I remember when my sister and I were younger and we wake up really early like 4am and we would eat cereal while waiting for our parents to wake up and we would listen to my dad’s snore until he woke up and then we would wake up my mom and then we put on our pretty dresses and then go open up the presents underneath the tree. One of our favorites gifts; I got a pink guitar from my grandma, and my sister got a ukelele and we would always perform “Never Grow Up” By Taylor Swift in the living room for our dad after he got home from work. I remember every other year, my sister and I would switch off on who would be able to put the star on the tree. My dad would lift us up on his shoulders and after we would count down from 10 for our mom to plug in the lights and we would get so excited for the tree to glow.
