Study Time Spots

Study Time Spots

Studying can be hard to get done and feel pretty boring. It may be difficult to find a good time to or place that’s not distracting, since trying to get it done at home often leads to being distracted by your phone or family. There are some great places around the Snohomish Mill Creek area that are the perfect options to go to for the weekend or after school study. In Historic Downtown Snohomish, there are a couple of cozy cafes that are a great environment for exactly that.

Looking Glass Coffee is a cozy little cafe with couches and chairs sat by the window that look out on the street. As you walk in there are a couple booths with tables if you have more people to study with you. They have great hot and iced drink options with a price range of $4-6. For food they offer a couple different types or waffles, sandwiches, wraps, salad, daily soup and different pastries.

Up the street from Looking Glass is the Snohomish Pie Company. This option is a little less cozy, but the shop has great natural lighting and smells like delicious baked goods. They have a great menu of coffee, tea, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, sandwiches, salads, and soups, all ranging from $6-11. If you want some pie, you can get a whole pie for $25 or half of one for $5, along with mini pies. They have plenty of tables for you or you and a friend to grab some pie and study.

If you live closer to Mill Creek Town Center, Bequest Coffee Co. is a great cozy option. They have low lighting and relaxing music. For seating options, they have a mix of couches and tables with comfy seating. They have a menu of hot and iced coffee, as well as a good mix of homemade sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, acai bowls, and omelets. The prices for the coffee range from about $2-$5, the pastries are about $3-$5, the acai bowls are $10, and the sandwiches are $12. If you want to get some studying done, and eat a good meal while you’re at it, supporting our local businesses is the way to go.
