With a wide variety of films from World War Two historical dramas (The Zone of Interest) to stop-motion animated mockumentary comedy that originated as a YouTube series (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) independent entertainment company A24 has helped distribute and create films as well as create series for both television and streaming services alike. The company is know for some of its unique  The A24 name has begun to be a sign of quality and acclaim, with 55 Academy Award (18 of which came from the 2023 awards) nominations with a total of 16 wins and films grossing as high as $144,414,740 globally, a feat that was achieved by 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once. After raising $225 million from investors, A24 was valued at $2.5 billion in 2022.Also in 2022, they created a membership for fans, AAA24 or All Access A24. The membership costs $5 monthly or $55 annually.

The membership includes

• Access to the company’s “A24 All Access” App, and Access to their “Close Friends” Instagram account. “Being on their Close Friends is really cool and it makes me feel exclusive,” Thomas Geenan said.
• Early Access to merch and member exclusive merch can get you ahead of the hype for many of their products, along with a 10% discount on merchandise which can help you stock up your closet or decorate your room.
• A birthday gift, and a membership pin, card, and keychain fob. Along with occasional additional surprises, the membership definitely pays itself off. The birthday gifts can save you so much money that depending on which gift you choose it can be worth as much as a year of the subscription. For example, when your birthday rolls around you get a choice of six different gifts to choose from that can range from a $12 logo stencil to a $60 book. Other gifts include vinyl records or posters as well.
• Zines can cost $5-$6 by individually, saving $5-$24 a year. “My favorite part of the membership is definitely the zines. I like that they include posters sometimes. I hope I can get one that I can put up on my wall,” Caroline Mellis said. But that’s baseline perks, if you get the subscription, the app is chock full of exclusive behind the scenes content of A24 productions.
• In addition, AAA24 members also get access to exclusive giveaways, and free screenings. Which in the modern day and age can cost up to $15 for a standard viewing at AMC or Regal saving you even more money. “We {members} get free tickets to screenings which is the part I’m gonna use the most out of the subscription. I think its not too expensive for free tickets,” Geenan said.

Over time you begin to reap more and more of the memberships benefits, AAA24 gives its members plenty of cool opportunities like premiere screenings,  But the membership isn’t for everyone A24’s productions can be a little out there in terms of their style or general vibe, but as for fans (or superfans) of A24 the membership is a great idea. “I would recommend it to many people in film club,” Geenan said.
