The Nintendo switch is a fairly new gaming console that came out on March 3, 2017.  It comes in a variety of colors, but the most classic color is the neon blue and neon red.  This gaming system has two detachable remotes that lie on each side of a decent sized screen. Like a Ds the switch is portable and because of that it is on the smaller side.

The switch gives you many options on how you want to play. For instance, you can place just the screen part of the switch in its charging station and can connect the station into your television so instead of you looking at the small screen you can look at your TV. The switch’s remotes also give you a lot of options. You can either leave it attached to the screen, take them off and play with another person, or you can attach them to a handle thing in the shape of your average gaming controller.

The Wii and GameCube can easily be compared to the new switch. Like the Wii, the switch has the mii app where you can create a person to play as. These three gaming systems also have similar games to play, which include many Mario games. However, since the switch is a newer product, it has a very limited amount of games unlike the Wii and GameCube. Super Mario Odyssey is a popular switch game that is more in the sense of a story. This game is very similar to the former GameCube game, Super Mario Sunshine that has the same story line, in which Mario (the player) goes through many obstacles to try and rescue Princess Peach. The switch also has a Mario Kart game, like the Wii and GameCube, however on the switch you can play this game live with your friends that also have a switch.

Overall, I would highly recommend this gaming system to someone who is in the search for a new one. It has many unique qualities to it that make it stand out among many other gaming systems. Something to keep in mind before purchasing this product is its price, which ranges from about 300-500 dollars.
