Now streaming on Netflix, the Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion has quickly reached the top of the charts, ranking in the top 10 most streamed movies in December, 2022. This murder mystery contains twists and turns, along with comedy and suspense. Starring Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, and Kate Hudson as some of the film’s most notable actors. The movie received 92% on Rotten tomatoes and an audience score of 93%. While the sequels’ characters are different from the old cast that everyone knows and loves, they did a great job in creating an incredibly well-done mystery film that drew in many viewers.  

With the film taking place in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it gives the movie a feeling of relevance to what is actually taking place globally. Despite the quarantine, an odd group of friends escape the insanity of the state of the world, and reconvene on a private Greek island, owned by Miles Bron (Edward Norton), the billionaire co-founder of technology company known as “Alpha”. With a murder mystery party that didn’t go accordingly, the puzzling plot leaves viewers dumbfounded and looking for answers.  

If you like mystery and suspense, follow detective Benoit Blanc as he uses his skills to solve the whodunit. The director, Rian Johnson has spoken on possibly a third movie in the series, so be on the lookout for another incredible film to top off this series.
