Weird Wishlists

Weird+Wishlists

Holiday wishlists can range from expensive to cheap, skincare to a new car, a brand new phone to a simple pair of socks. A holiday wishlist usually depends on your age, your interests, and sometimes where you live. Many people have interesting and odds things that they are hoping for this upcoming holiday gift-giving season, and some have been already given interesting gifts.

Sophomore student Gabrielle Mitchell has something on her list nobody would expect, snail mucus. She had seen it online and read different reviews raving out it, “I’ve heard it helps with uneven skin tone and a few other things, so I thought it would be interesting to add it to my list. Hopefully someone gets it for me,” Mitchell said.

Others have already been given gifts that were not on their list this year. Freshman Samantha Wilner was given a “PooPoo Putter”, “I got it in white elephant this year at my Christmas party from my friend and basically it came with a green like rug, a golf club, and a tee. It was hilarious and everyone was laughing about it, it will definitely be interesting to try.” Wilner said.

Some people also like giving funny or gag gifts that nobody really wants or just funny gifts in general. Often times to family members, or most often, siblings. Sophomore Kennedy Guichard will be giving her little sister a “Tortilla Blanket” and weird flavored candy canes, such as pickle flavored, and buttered popcorn. “I think that she will like the tortilla blanket because it is cute but it is also really funny,” Guichard said. “Honestly I think she will probably not eat the candy canes but I am excited to see her reaction to them because it’s funny,” She added.

This holiday season, there are many different gift options. Ranging from funny to completely weird and unique, but everyone is sure to get a laugh out of ideas like these this year.
