Students’ Fashion Must Haves For 2024

We are entering a whole new year, and students have opinions on what fashion trends should be left in 2023, and which ones should stay or come back in 2024. Also, we have noticed there has been a common theme among these students’ opinions, can you tell which trends they liked and disliked? “I would like to keep baggy jeans because I really did not love the skinny jeans that were really popular in like 2019ish and before, so I would really like to keep the sweats and hoodies because they are really comfortable and I don’t really love dressing up for school,” Junior Calista Neph said.

“Skinny Jeans are an absolute no, they just don’t look good on anybody. Baggy jeans or just baggy pants are a yes because they are more comfortable first off, and they just look a lot better. For shoes I’d say Adidas sambas because they’re fire, actually I’m wearing them right now,” Sophomore Cooper Blaine said.

“So, a fashion trend I would like to remain or stay in 2024 are cargos and like baggy pants. As well as all those 2000s fashion and stuff because I think it’s really cute,” Senior Tiffany Baek said.

“I think the Timberland shoe trend should stay because they are really nice and are really good material. The color they have are just very versatile and just match with so many outfits but get rid of Rick Owen’s because they look just like Converse sneakers except, they are extremely overpriced. Another trend I think we should leave behind is the matching Nike Tech suits, they just look weird and looks like you put no effort into the outfit,” Junior Peyton Guzman said.

Many students aren’t very fond on skinny jeans simply because not many people can pull them off, or them being too uncomfortable, so many tend to just lean towards baggy jeans or baggy pants in general. Other students would even love seeing older fashion trends from different decades make a comeback in this new year.
