Chris Brown’s seventh album Royalty released on December 18, 2015. The album is the follow up to his sixth studio album X, which had an R&B/Hip Hop vibe to it. The album Royalty is R&B along with some dance-pop beats. Brown’s album has three features including: Solo Lucci, Tayla Parx and Future.

This album is named after his daughter, Royalty. On the album he has a song named “Little More (Royalty)” which is about his love for his daughter. “You’re making me stronger, and bring out the best of me” he sings. In the music video for this song, Brown plays with his daughter while singing the lyrics to her.

Throughout most of Royalty, Brown is clearly singing to those who have underestimated him or wronged him in the past. The album’s music ranges from singing about love to hatred. Brown shows he has “No Filter” in this album.

For Brown, it’s his sixth No. 1 on the charts. According to Billboard, Royalty is currently named the #1 R&B album and is #3 on Billboard’s 200 chart. The singer’s seventh album debuts at the top with 162,000 copies sold in the week of Dec 18- 24. However, despite having greater first week sales than his previous three albums, this is his third lowest peak position for one of his solo albums.
