15 dives completed, 70 points earned, first year ever competing and Senior Blake Oliva Pulls out a win. Among all the Wesco south dive teams Blake dove and took first place.

“It was definitely the best competition I have ever had,” Oliva said.

Oliva owes most of his success to his friend Andre who was out sick but still managed to come and support his team.

“We were all missing some competition but having Andre there to support us I think helped all of us do our best in the long run.”

With districts coming up soon and the season crawling to the end, Blake is hoping to move forward and to finish his season competing in districts and hopefully placing.
