Senior night is for the seniors to shine their brightest, to be recognized for their hard work and participation on the team. It’s also important because senior night is the last home game the seniors will ever play on their home court.

When the game was about to begin, Abbie Juozapaitis was excited for it because she has been on varsity for four years and has been experiencing all the senior games and now it was her turn. Before the game started, Nicole Jensen was a little sad but excited. She was somewhat prepared for it.

“I’m not going to lie, I cried a little bit and just wanted to enjoy myself and not over think things,” Jensen said.

At half time all the senior girls said that they weren’t really focused on the senior night activities, rather,  they just wanted to win.

“It was a good night to be able to win and have that experience,” Juozapaitis said.

One of Makayla Guerra’s favorite memories is of the senior girls are just being with them and seeing them smile, laugh and having a good time.

“Looking back at the years when we all started basketball and ended it together is just a happy feeling there are so many memories its hard to choose one,” Guerra said.

Juozapaitis concluded that she and Guerra always share a Red Bull whenever they have a game no matter what.

“I always buy a 16 oz red bull with blue raspberry syrup,” Guerra said.

Juozapaitis, Jensen and Guerra said that they are all going to miss the people and super bonded friendships they made throughout the years.
